ASHLAND, Va. - Randolph-Macon Men's Swimming opened the season with a Thursday night meet against Mary Washington, falling in the first dual meet of the 2026-27 season.    

Individual Winners

• In the 100 Breast, Elliott Kassab (Richmond, Va./New Community School) delivered a first-place performance with a time of 59.29 seconds. He added another top finish in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:16.08.
• Andrew Fritz (Reston, Va./South Lakes) earned first place in the 100 Free with a time of 48.92 seconds. 

Relay Highlights

• The 200 Medley Relay team, consisting of Ethan Munoz (Stafford, Va./Colonial Forge), Kassab, Brogan VanLesser (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen) and Fritz, finished second with a time of 1:39.58. 
• In the 200 Free Relay, the team of Connor Davis (Goochland, Va./Goochland), Fritz, Landon Abelende (La Plata, Md./La Plata) and VanLesser finished third with a time of 1:30.06.

Individual Highlights

• Parker Anderson (Midlothian, Va./Monacan) earned a second-place finish in the 1000 Free with a time of 10:58.95.
• Abelende finished the 200 Free with a time of 1:51.10, earning third in his first collegiate dual meet.
• Alex Fortiz (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) had a strong showing during the 100 Breast with a time of 1:02.61, earning third. He added a second-place finish in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:18.93. 
• During the 50 Free, VanLesser delivered a second-place finish with a time of 22.05 seconds. During the 100 Fly, he finished third with a time of 56.29 seconds.
• In the 200 Back, Munoz finished third with a time of 2:05.25.
• Kassab added to his night with a top-two finish in the 200 Medley with a time of 2:05.29.
