ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon Men's Soccer used a dominant performance against Guilford as the Yellow Jackets recovered from their midweek matchup.

How it Happened
- RMC wasted no time getting its explosive attack going. In the third minute, Barrett Wilson (Lexington, S.C./Lexington) slotted home a beautiful header from a throw-in by Damien Jackson (Newport News, Va./Menchville).
- Damien Jackson, Keanan Kopp (Blacksburg, Va./Blacksburg) and Bryce Kuberek (King George, Va./King George) controlled the midfield for the Yellow Jackets, keeping the Quakers' attack at bay while creating offensive opportunities for the Yellow Jackets.
- In the 34th minute, Wilson looked to tally his second goal of the match but Sam Bayer made the save for GC.
- Nine minutes later, Wilson showed off his ball control and tallied his second goal of the afternoon,assisted by Elijah Caro (Asheville, N.C./Black Mountain) lifting the Lemon and Black ahead 2-0 and the Yellow Jackets headed into the break with the lead.
- Coming out of the break, Bryce Hanna (Asheville, N.C./Asheville) and Charis Tchatat (Douala, Cameroon/Albert Einstein) locked down the backline, preventing chances for the Quakers.
- In the 61st minute, Jayden Walker (Suffolk, Va./Norfolk Collegiate) tested Bayer, looking to extend the Yellow Jackets' lead to three.
- In the 78th minute, Walker had another opportunity to grab his first goal of the season. He took one shot that Bayer saved but Walker collected the rebound and beat Bayer on the second effort. The Yellow Jackets maintained the 3-0 lead as the subs came in for RMC and it closed out the match, earning a 3-0 victory over Guilford.
