Allison Lach (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) registered back-to-back-kills, vaulting the Yellow Jackets to a 19-18 lead. Kaitlyn Kaplan (Norfolk, Va./Norfolk Collegiate) provided two services aces, ensuring a 25-23 victory in the first set.
- Kwiatek recorded two services aces in three points, helping the Yellow Jackets open the second set with a 7-2 lead. Toward the middle of the set, Susquehanna pulled back within one, with a score of 10-11. Three-straight attack errors from Susquehanna helped Randolph-Macon capture the second set.
- The third set remained within two points for the first 24 points of the set, until Lach recorded back-to-back kills to help the Lemon and Black earn a 15-12 advantage. Milly Mach (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) recorded her second and last kill of the game, propelling RMC to a 20-15 lead. A final service ace and kill helped the Yellow Jackets close out the set and match on a 3-0 spurt.
