7/29/2025 9:02:00 AM

ASHLAND, Va. - Randolph-Macon Men's Golf is set for the 2025-26 season under the new leadership of Director of Golf Bryan Hearn.

"We have a team of very talented guys that are looking to prove a point. I'm excited to have the schedule put together that will give them multiple opportunities against the best programs in the country to do that," said Hearn.

The Yellow Jackets are coming off a season in which the team placed in the top-10 in five different tournaments. In the Old Dominion Athletic Conference tournament last season, the Lemon and Black had two members finish in the top-5 as individuals. The team placed eighth overall in the conference tournament with strong finishes by Michael Schaal (Chapel Hill, N.C./Carolina Friends) and Charlie Wilkerson (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian).

Randolph-Macon has finalized and is set to travel to four different tournaments this fall. The Yellow Jackets will kick off the fall season in Granville, Ohio to take part in the Ted Barclay Fall Invitational. The tournament is hosted by Denison University on Aug. 30-31. The team will take three weeks off before going back to the state of Ohio, taking part in the Donald Ross Intercollegiate, hosted by John Carroll University on Sept. 21-22.

The Lemon and Black will compete in two more events in October to close out the fall season. The team will make a trip to Destin, Florida for three days for the GolfWeek October Classic on Oct. 12-14. The fall will finish with a short trip down to Greensboro, North Carolina for the O'Briant-Jensen Invitational at conference members homecourse of Guilford College on Oct. 27-28.
