ASHLAND, Va. - The Randolph-Macon men's tennis team received a gritty win by
Luis Geyne (Salem, Va./Salem) in #5 singles, grabbing the Yellow Jackets a match point. Geyne and
Jett Hales (Kenly, N.C./North Johnson) also would win their match in #3 doubles to highlight the men's tennis match with Bridgewater on Tuesday afternoon.

Doubles:
The Yellow Jackets got a win in #3 doubles with Geyne and Hales defeating their opponents 6-3 in a tough match. Bridgewater did take care of business in the first two doubles matches with identical scores of 6-1. The Eagles winning two out of three doubles matches, gives them the overall match lead at 1-0.

Singles:
In singles, Geyne followed up his doubles performance with another win in #5 singles in a convincing manner. His win would grab a team point for the Yellow Jackets in the overall match.
Harris Wadsworth (Lake Wales, Fla./Lake Wales) and Jennings turned in tough but gritty performances in #3 and #6 singles. Both freshmen took their opponents to extra points during the individual matches. Jennings opened up almost grabbing the first set and would fall 7-5 and Wadsworth came back from a tough first set to force his opponent into extra points, falling 7-5. The Eagles would secure five out of six single matches and take home the overall match win.
