ASHLAND, Va. - The Randolph-Macon men's tennis team received two points with wins by
Winston Chapman (Hampton, Va./Norfolk Collegiate) in #4 singles and
Luis Geyne (Salem, Va./Salem) in #5 singles to lead men's tennis against visiting conference foe Ferrum on Saturday afternoon.

Doubles:
The Yellow Jackets lost two out of three doubles lines. Geyne and
Jett Hales (Kenly, N.C./North Johnson) did get a win in #3 doubles to highlight the Lemon and Black in the three doubles matches. Ferrum took a full match lead of 1-0 with winning two out of three doubles matches.

Singles:
In singles, Chapman and Geyne would grab the only two points for the Lemon and Black. In #4 singles, Chapman dominated, defeating his opponent overall 12-to-1. Geyne followed up his teammate with a consistent win in #5 singles to grab the Yellow Jackets two points for the team score. Randolph-Macon did get great showings out of Crotts and
Harris Wadsworth (Lake Wales, Fla./Lake Wales) in #1 and #6 singles. Both Yellow Jackets were close to forcing decisive winner-take-all sets, forcing Ferrum to play extra points in the second sets.
The Panthers would secure four out of six single matches and take home the overall match win.
