ASHLAND, Va. - The Randolph-Macon men's tennis dominated in its spring season opener with a 7-0 victory over Mary Baldwin 7-0.

Doubles:
The Jackets won all three doubles matches to take the early 1-0 lead in the entire match.
Drew Crotts (Cramerton, N.C./Stuart W. Cramer) and
Karsten Palmer (Swepsonville, N.C./River Mill) won 6-2 in first doubles to begin the match.
Evan Holzmacher (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester) and
Winston Chapman (Hampton, Va./Norfolk Collegiate) won in second doubles,
Luis Geyne (Salem, Va./Salem) and
Jett Hales (Kenly, N.C./North Johnson) won in third doubles by scores of 6-1 in both matches.
Singles:
In singles play the Yellow Jackets outscored Mary Baldwin 73-25 in all six singles matches. Crotts won in a close first singles match, defeating his opponent by scores of 6-3 and 7-5. Hales and Chapman both dominated in fourth and sixth singles outscoring their opponents 24-3. The domination continued in each singles match and led the Yellow Jackets to a 7-0 sweep over Mary Baldwin.
