Men's Swim Takes Down Two School Records on Day Three of ODACs

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Randolph-Macon men's swimming completed day three at the ODAC championships in Greensboro, North Carolina on Friday evening. Through 24 events in the 2025 ODAC Championships, Randolph-Macon men's swimming stands at fifth with 188 points.

School Records:
  • The 200 yard medley relay team of Alex Richardson (Vero Beach, Fla./Vero Beach), Elliott Kassab (Richmond, Va./New Community School), Aidan Campbell (Newport News, Va./Warwick) and Ben Pastva (Fairfax, Va./Robinson) finished fifth with a time of 1:33.97. The time is a new school record that bested the previous record that was set in 2019. 
  • Kassab swam the 100 yard breaststroke in 57.04 seconds, placing fifth in the A final. The sophomore broke the previous record of 57.11 seconds that was set by Robert Redenz in 2017.   
Individual Results:
  • Campbell finished sixth in the A final of the 100 yard butterfly in 51.29 seconds. 
  • Richardson placed eighth overall in the A final of the 400 yard IM with a time of 4:10.11. The junior also finished second in the 100 yard backstroke B final in 52.73 seconds. 
  • James Skarbek (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes) was eighth overall in the A final of the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:45.09. 
  • Dillon Strohhacker (Mechanicsville, Va./Mechanicsville) was seventh in the 200 yard freestyle B final with an overall time of 1:47.54. 
  • Evan Fannin (Hayes, Va./Christchurch) swam the 100 yard butterfly in 52.35 seconds, placing eighth in the B final. 
  • Zack Hubbard (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) placed eighth in the 100 yard breaststroke B final with a clocked time of 1:00.41. 
  • Casey Dingman (Ashland, Va./Patrick Henry) was the eighth place finisher in the 100 yard backstroke B final with a time of 57.21 seconds.
