ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon College Athletics would like to formally welcome Will Brunner as the Director of Games Management.

A native of Virginia, Brunner brings more than 15 years of professional experience directing swim programs, training lifeguards and overseeing large-scale aquatic operations across the region.

Most recently, Brunner has served as the Aquatics Director at Burkwood Swim & Racquet Club, where he manages a department of over 100 employees and oversees Swim School, Swim Training, Private Lessons and Masters programs for athletes ages three to 65. During that time, he coached both men's and women's programs, recruited student-athletes, assisted in operations for the Yellow Jacket Invite and helped guide the team to several notable achievements. The program earned ODAC Coaching Staff of the Year honors in 2015, set 12 varsity records, produced an ODAC Swimmer of the Year and secured multiple All-ODAC and All-Academic honorees under his tenure.

A graduate of the University of Mary Washington, Brunner holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and brings a strong background in team leadership, training and program coordination.
