HAMPTON, Va. - Randolph-Macon women's swimming concluded the annual Yellow Jacket Invitational in Hampton, Virginia on Sunday, finishing fifth out of eight teams with a score of 422.
Individual Highlights
- Ethan Munoz (Stafford, Va./Colonial Forge) finished the 200 Back in 1:57.90 seconds, earning a seventh-place finish.
- In the same event, Casey Dingman (Ashland, Va./Patrick Henry) earned a ninth-place finish with a time of 1:58.08.
- Elliott Kassab (Richmond, Va./New Community School) earned a fourth-place finish in the 200 Breast with an impressive time of 2:05.27, setting a new team record.
- In the 200 Fly, Evan Fannin (Hayes, Va./Christchurch) earned a ninth-place finish with a time of 1:56.91.
- In the same event, Alex Richardson (Vero Beach, Fla./Vero Beach) earned a 10th-place finish with a time of 2:00.66.
Relay Highlights
- The 400 Free relay team of Kassab, Fannin, Andrew Fritz (Reston, Va./South Lakes) and Richardson earned an eighth-place finish with a time of 3:14.31.
- In the same event, the relay team of Munoz, Zack Hubbard (Stafford, Va./North Stafford), Dillon Strohhacker (Mechanicsville, Va./Mechanicsville) and Matthew Appleton (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax) finished 10th with a time of 3:17.73.
