GREENSBORO, N.C. - Randolph-Macon men's swimming completed the final day at the ODAC championships in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Saturday evening. Randolph-Macon men's swimming finished in fifth with 336 points.
Individual Highlights
- Parker Anderson (Midlothian, Va./Monacan) finished the 1650 Free in 10th place with a time of 17:18.77.
- During the 200 Back, Ethan Munoz (Stafford, Va./Colonial Forge) earned a sixth-place finish in the A final with a time of 1:55.24.
- In the B final, Casey Dingman (Ashland, Va./Patrick Henry) finished fifth in 2:01.84. Ben Sallade (Bristow, Va./Patriot) finished one place behind Dingman with a time of 2:04.29.
- Matthew Appleton (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax) and Andrew Fritz (Reston, Va./South Lakes) finished fourth and eighth in the 100 Free B final with a time of 47.60seconds and 48.28 seconds.
- During the 200 Breast A final, Elliott Kassab (Richmond, Va./New Community School) finished third and set a new school record with a time of 2:04.68. The previous record was set earlier this season by Kassab with a time of 2:05.27.
- In the 200 Breast B final, Sasha Babic (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) and Alex Fortiz (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) finished sixth and seventh with times of 2:13.32 and 2:13.74.
- Alex Richardson (Vero Beach, Fla./Vero Beach) finished second and set a new school record in the 200 Fly A final with a time of 1:51.23. the previous record was set in 2019-20 by Victor Kontopanos. Evan Fannin (Hayes, Va./Christchurch) finished with a time of 1:59.01, earning eighth place.
- Reed Dodson (Bealeton, Va./Liberty) finished in seventh during the 200 Fly B finals with a time of 2:03.42.
Relay Highlights
- The 400 Free Relay team, consisting of Fannin, Kassab, Fritz and Appleton, finished in fifth place with a time of 3:11.13.
