HAMPTON, Va. - The Randolph-Macon men's swim team slots fifth out of eight teams participating in the Yellow Jacket Invitational in Hampton, Va., after day two. RMC totaled 282 points through six events.
Individual Highlights
- In the 100 Fly, Evan Fannin (Hayes, Va./Christchurch) earned an eighth-place finish with a time of 51.26 seconds.
- Elliott Kassab (Richmond, Va./New Community School) earned a fifth-place finish, setting a new team record in the 100 Breast with a time of 56.76 seconds.
- Ethan Munoz (Stafford, Va./Colonial Forge) finished the 100 Back in 53.93 seconds, earning a 10th-place finish.
Relay Highlights
- The 200 Medley relay team of Munoz, Kassab, Fannin and Alex Richardson (Vero Beach, Fla./Vero Beach) earned a fifth-place finish with a time of 1:34.87.
- The 800 Free relay team of Richardson, Dillon Strohhacker (Mechanicsville, Va./Mechanicsville), David Mutter (Rockville, Md./Sherwood) and Matthew Appleton (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax) finished in seventh-place with a time of 7:19.12.
