FOREST, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's soccer team had four members receive Old Dominion Athletic Conference postseason awards. Seniors
Ally Spangler (Daleville, Va./Lord Botetourt),
Alexa Stohr (Fredericksburg, Va./ Massaponax) and
Abigail Pesut (Virginia Beach, Va./Kellam) were tabbed to the second team.
Ariel Farmer (Chesterfield, Va./Clover Hill) landed herself on the All-ODAC third team.
Spangler found herself named as an all-conference performer for the second time in her career. The senior was the Yellow Jackets' leading goal scorer this season, starting and playing in 18 games. She was a premier striker for the Yellow Jackets this season, ranking first in the conference in points (35), second overall for assists (11) and fourth in goals (12). Spangler's season was highlighted by recording four goals on 11 shots in a seven-day span during the season, which included a hat-trick against Hollins.

The midfielder ended the season ranked in the top-10 in the conference for points (22), recording eight goals and six assists. This season, she was a key piece during the Yellow Jackets' buildup, using her creativity to spark the offense.
Pesut led a tremendous defensive line for the Lemon and Black this season. The senior was found all over the field, helping the Yellow Jackets in their lethal transition in the midfield. She was a part of a defensive line that notched eight shutouts this season, while adding one goal on the offensive side of the field. During the season, she was also named an ODAC Defensive Player of the Week. She was named to an all-conference team previously her freshman season.
Farmer started in 12 games and played in 18 this season for Randolph-Macon at the forward position. The senior ended the season ranked 12th for assists (six) and 23rd in the conference in points (16). This season, she was an offensive catalyst for the Yellow Jackets, coming off the bench. This is the first time that she has been named to an all-conference team in her career.
Under first-year Head Coach
Patrick Corbett, the Yellow Jackets finished with a record of 9-8-2 overall and 7-3-0 in conference contests. The Yellow Jackets captured their first win over Lynchburg and started 5-0 in conference play for the first time since 2019. The team also had the 23rd nationally ranked scoring offense.
