ROANOKE, Va. - Randolph-Macon women's volleyball saw three players end with double-digit kills to gets back on track with a 3-1 road victory at Hollins.

How it Happened
- Randolph-Macon used three straight kills and a Hollins error to jump out to a 4-0 lead in the first set. Hollins fought back scoring 12 out of the next 20 points, tying up the set at 12-12. The Yellow Jackets took the lead back for a short time before Hollins rattled off four straight points, grabbing its first lead of the match at 16-13. Randolph-Macon would see themselves down 20-15, before taking the next six points capped off by a service ace by Ella Courtney (Arlington, Va./Wakefield). The score would be tied at 21-21 late in the set but Mia Goode (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) propelled the Yellow Jackets with two straight kills, defeating Hollins 25-22.
- The second set started with five different Randolph-Macon players recording atleast one kill, grabbing an early 10-4 lead. The middle portion of the set saw Courtney lead the team with three straight kills, extending the lead to 20-12 for the Yellow Jackets. Hollins did not quit in the set, conducting an 8-1 run to dwindle the Randolph-Macon lead to 21-20. The Lemon and Black benefited from three errors by Hollins in the final four points, taking a 2-0 lead in the match.
- The Yellow Jackets controlled the first half of the third set highlighted by two kills each from Karlie Morris (King and Queen County, Va./Middlesex), Courtney and Goode. Randolph-Macon secured a 17-11 lead late in the set but Hollins rattled off 11 straight points, highlighted by Ivy Collins recording four kills. The run guided Hollins to a 25-21 set victory, extending the match into a fourth set.
- In the fourth set the Yellow Jackets came out on fire, using two kills apiece by Milly Mach (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) and Goode, grabbing the lead 7-2. Three straight Randolph-Macon errors led to four straight Hollins points with Randolph-Macon holding a 7-6 lead. Grace Ostvig (Fredericksburg, Va./Colonial Forge) helped the Lemon and Black answer with three straight kills, pushing the lead back to 10-6. The Ostivg run helped Randolph-Macon get on a roll and take a commanding 20-13 lead. Hollins continued its late set heroics, scoring eight out of the next 11 points to pull the deficit down to 23-21. Morris ended the game with a fantastic kill to send Randolph-Macon home with a 3-1 match victory.
