ASHLAND, Va. - The Randolph-Macon women's swimming team won 11 total events, dominating the pool, in a 193-69 win over St. Mary's College (Md.) in its first home meet of the season.  

Individual Winners

• Brooklyn DeCann (Huntersville, N.C./Lincoln Charter) in the 1000 Free, finished in the top spot with a time of 11:28.69. She finished with the top spot in the 500 Free in 5:39.71.
• Kelsey James (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial) took home the victory in the 200-yard Free with a time of 2:03.39. James also earned the top spot during the 200 Back, finishing in 2:14.52.
• Abby Kozlowski (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep) gave the Yellow Jackets nine points with her win in the 100 Back, with a time of 1:03.58.
• Anna Sprott (Hampton, Va./Peninsula Catholic) finished with the top spot in the 100 Breast in 1:10.12. She also earned the Yellow Jackets nine more points, taking first place in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:34.56.
• Izzie Check (Williamsburg, Va./Bruton) won the 100 Breast in 55.94 seconds. She added her second individual win of the night in the 400 Medley, finishing with a time of 4:50.21.
• Teaghan McNeill (Knightdale, N.C./Enloe) won the 100 Free in 56.73 seconds.

Relay Winners

• The 200 Medley relay team of James, Sprott, Madi Reed (Stephens City, Va./Sherando) and Sophie Sullivan (Richmond, Va. Saint Catherine's) placed first with a time of 1:51.64.
• The 200 Free relay team of McNeill, Reese Painter (Houston, Texas/Duchesne Academy of Sacred Heart), Sullivan and James finished in 1:42.34, placing first in the event.

Individual Highlights

• Maryn Feehs (Lorton, Va./South County) added a second-place finish in the 1000 Free in 11:38.53, adding four more points to the team's overall score.
• Hannah Loyd (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes) placed second in the 200 Free with a time of 2:04.14, giving the Lemon and Black four points. In the 500 Free, Loyd earned a second-place finish with a time of 5:42.81.
• Painter and Mary Kathryn Stum (North Beach, Md./Northern) finished second and third in the 100 Back with times of 1:04.65 and 1:06.21.
• Check and Lily Mitchell (Wake Forest, N.C./Heritage) finished second and third in the 100 Breast with times of 1:10.79 and 1:17.97.
• Caroline Russell (Lynchburg, Va./EC Glass) impressed by finishing second in the 200 Fly, finishing with a time of 2:18.42, earning four points for RMC's overall score. In the 400 Medley, Russell finished with a time of 4:56.22, earning second place.
• Annika Rogerson (Goochland, Va./Goochland) finished with a time of 2:20.90, earning third place. She continued her strong showing with a time of 1:02.10 in the 100 Fly, earning a second-place finish. Rogerson third  in the 100 free with 58.04 seconds.
• In the 50 Free, Sullivan finished in second place with a time of 25.51 seconds and McNeill finished third with a time of 26.23 seconds.
• Sullivan finished second in the 100 free with a time of 57.12 seconds.
• During the 200 Back, Kozlowksi and Painter recorded times of 2:18.90 and 2:23.16 to earn second and third place.
• Reed and Mitchell added seven points overall to the Yellow Jackets' score, finishing second and third with times of 2:45.59 and 2:49.20.
• Avery Swenson (Chester, Va./Monacan) added three more points with a third-place finish, recording a time of 1:04.45 in the 100 Fly.

For the Record

• Sprott's 200 Breast is currently the fourth fastest in the ODAC.
• Check's 400 Medley was a great swim and the time currently ranks first in the ODAC.
