JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – Randolph-Macon women's golf battled through tough conditions in the final round of the Jekyll Island Collegiate to move up one spot to ninth after shooting a 331 as a team and finishing the tournament +107 to par.
Morgan Mussatt (Henrico, Va./Mills Godwin) claimed another top-10 finish in her freshman campaign as she had seven pars on the back nine to finish with a 78 (+6), tied for ninth in the tournament.
Alexis Haller (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Collegiate School) finished tied for 14
th after a strong weekend. She shot an 80 (+8) in the final round.
Elli Flinchum (Summerfield, N.C./Rockingham County) notched eight pars as she finished with an 84 (+12) on the day to slot in the top-50 individually.
Emma Bonovitch (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen) came into the clubhouse with an 89 (+17) in the final round while
Mary Kathryn Topping (Midlothian, Va./Maggie Walker Governor's School) rounded out the lineup with a 96 (+24).
RMC will be back in action on April 8-9 to host the Max and Susan Stith Invitational at The Dominion Club.
