ASHLAND, Va. - The Randolph-Macon women's swim team won ten events and had multiple top-10 times in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference in its thrashing victory against Catholic (D.C.) on Saturday afternoon. 

Individual Winners

• Reese Painter (Houston, Tex./Duchesne Academy of Sacred Heart) won the 200 yard freestyle in 1:59.87, which is the second fastest time in the conference this season. The freshman also swam the fourth best time in the ODAC this season in her victory in the 200 yard backstroke in 2:12.69. She added a victory in the 50 yard freestyle with an overall time of 25.46 seconds.  
• Sophia Hanson (Hamilton, Va./Woodgrove) took home the victory in the 100 yard breaststroke in 1:10.49. The senior won her second event in the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 2:33.66 that is good for the fifth quickest time in the conference this season. 
• Kierra Parsons (Akron, Pa./Ephrata) earned the top spot in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 11:06.23. The senior took home the victory in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:27.50, which is sixth overall time in the ODAC thus far this season. 
• Caroline Russell (Lynchburg, Va./EC Glass) had an impressive showing in the 400 yard IM, as she would clock in at 5:01.40 to be the fastest time in the entire conference. 
• Cayden Fix (Barboursville, Va./William Monroe) was awarded nine points for her team with her victory in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 56.83 seconds.
• Sophie Sullivan (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) was awarded the win in the 100 yard butterfly in 1:02.99.  

Relay Winners

• The 200 yard freestyle relay team of Painter, Fix, Kelsey James (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial) and Sullivan won the event in 1:42.13. 
• The 400 yard medley relay team of James, Hanson, Sullivan and Fix took home the victory with an overall time of 4:11.25. 

Individual Highlights

• Hannah Loyd (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes) placed in the runner-up spot in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:04.55.
• Avery Swenson (Chester, Va./Monacan) was the second finisher in the 200 yard butterfly in 2:25.63.
• James finished second in the 100 yard backstroke in 1:02.09, giving the Yellow Jackets four more points to the team total. 
• Sullivan was second to finish in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.60 seconds. 
• Fix also took home another second place finish for the Lemon and Black, this time in the 100 yard butterfly in 1:03.78.

The Yellow Jackets will be back in action on Friday, Nov. 15 for a road contest against Sweet Briar that will be held at Hampden-Sydney College at 6:00 p.m.
