FARMVILLE, Va. -  Randolph-Macon women's swimming defeated Sweet Briar College on Friday night, taking the top spot in eleven different events and finishing with a dominant 169-30 victory.     

Individual Winners

• Caroline Russell (Lynchburg, Va./EC Glass) kicked off the individual events with a victory in the 800 meter freestyle, defeating the next finisher by twenty seconds at 10:00.07.
• Kierra Parsons (Akron, Pa./Ephrata) was victorious in a competitive 200 meter freestyle race and clocked in a time of 2:16.36.
• Teaghan McNeill (Knightdale, N.C./Enloe) took home the top spot in the 50 meter freestyle with a time of 29.64 seconds. 
• Mary Kathryn Stum (North Beach, Md./Northern) won the 100 meter IM by almost five seconds, finishing with an overall time of 1:14.79.
• Sophie Sullivan (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) won the 50 meter butterfly in 30.97 seconds. 
• Hannah Loyd (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes) had the best overall time in the 100 meter freestyle, winning the event in 1:04.39.
• Kelsey James (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial) added another victory to the Yellow Jacket total in the 50 meter backstroke and finished with a time of 32.75 seconds. 
• Reese Painter (Houston, Tex./Duchesne Academy of Sacred Heart) finished the 400 meter freestyle in 4:54.35 to win the event.  
• Sophia Hanson (Hamilton, Va./Woodgrove) took home the top spot in the 50 meter breaststroke in 35.61 seconds. 

Relay Winners

• The 200 meter medley relay team of Painter, Anna Sprott (Hampton, Va./Peninsula Catholic), Ava Sanders (Chesterfield, Va./Cosby) and Sullivan finished with the top spot in 2:12.13.  
• The 200 meter freestyle relay team of Cayden Fix (Barboursville, Va./William Monroe), Hannah Tillett (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial), Abby Kozlowski (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep) and Parsons took the victory in 1:58.85.

Individual Highlights

• Kozlowski placed second in the 800 meter freestyle with an overall time of 10:20.86. The sophomore also was the runner-up in the 50 meter backstroke in 33.39 seconds.  
• James was the runner-up in the 200 meter freestyle and clocked in a time of 2:16.41.
• Loyd turned in an impressive performance in the 50 meter freestyle with a second place finish in 29.78 seconds. 
• Madi Reed (Stephens City, Va./Sherando) was the second finisher in the 50 meter butterfly in 31.11 seconds. 
• Brooklyn DeCann (Huntersville, N.C./Lincoln Charter) was the runner-up in the 100 meter freestyle and clocked in a time of 1:06.40.
• Sprott finished second in the 400 meter freestyle with a time of 5:02.25.  
• Parsons was second in the 50 meter breaststroke and the time would be 38.40 seconds.
