ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon women's swimming defeated ODAC foe Virginia Wesleyan 113-75 on Saturday to earn their second win in as many days.

The Yellow Jackets started out the meet winning the 400 medley relay, taking the top two spots. The winning relay team finished in 4:13.41 and the second place group finished in 4:21.43.

Individually, RMC won each event, beginning with
Brooklyn DeCann (Huntersville, N.C./Lincoln Charter) taking first in the 1000 yard free, nearly winning by a full minute with a time of 11:34.13.

Kierra Parsons (Akron, Pa./Ephrata) won her third event in two days in the 200 free, winning in 2:04.28. Second place finished seven seconds behind. She also took first in the 500 free, cruising to a 5:35.20 finish for her fourth win of the weekend.

Cayden Fix (Barboursville, Va./William Monroe) won in a narrow finish in the 50 free, edging out the win in 25.54. She also won the 100 free in 55.61, winning by .13 seconds.

Teaghan McNeill (Knightdale, N.C./Enloe) and
Sophia Hanson (Hamilton, Va./Woodgrove) took the top two spots in the 200 IM. McNeill took first with a time of 2:21.78, and Hanson slotted behind in 2:26.05.

Caroline Russell (Lynchburg, Va./EC Glass) won the 200 fly with a time of 2:23.99.

Kelsey James (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial) notched a win in comfortable fashion, finishing with a time of 2:14.83.

Katelyn Vieni (Mechanicsville, Va./Lee-Davis) wrapped up individual events with a gold finish in 200 breaststroke in 2:35.10.

Abby Kozlowski (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep) had a second place finish in the 200 back with a personal best time of 2:15.34.

RMC is back in action on January 20 for a meet at Washington and Lee at 1:00 p.m.
