ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon men's tennis fell in a tough 6-3 match against Shenandoah on Friday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets went 1-2 in doubles play, with Max Doyle (Alexandria, Va./St. John's College) and Mitchell Herman (Fairfax, Va./Flint Hill) picking up an 8-1 win at third doubles. In singles play, Mitch Herman won again at fifth singles 6-4, 6-0 and Max Presley (Hilton Head, S.C./Goochland) cruised at six singles 6-3, 6-2. RMC moves to 7-5 overall and 3-5 in conference ahead of a road matchup at Virginia Wesleyan today at 10:30 a.m.
