ASHLAND, Va. -- The Randolph-Macon men's tennis team topped Ferrum College 9-0 on Sunday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets swept the doubles matches dropping only two games throughout all three matches. Max Doyle (Alexandria, Va./St. John's College) and Mitchell Herman (Fairfax, Va./Flint Hill) won 8-1 at three doubles .In singles play, the Jackets pulled out all six matches to secure the sweep. Holland Baynard (Wilmington, N.C./New Hanover) won 6-4, 6-2 at first singles and Xan Johnston (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) got his second singles victory of the season 6-2, 6-1 at fifth singles .The win moves Randolph-Macon to 6-2 heading into Saturday's ODAC contest at Roanoke College.
