How it Happened:
- It was all Catherine Kagey (Roanoke, Va./Faith Christian) in the first quarter, as she accounted for 10 of the 15 points for the Yellow Jackets, including her own 6-2 run, helping RMC towards a 15-11 lead after 10 minutes.

With just over a minute to play in the half, Salisbury capped off their 17-4 run to take a four-point lead, which RMC closed to 3 before the halftime break.
- The Yellow Jackets opened the second half on an 11-5 run, which eight of those 11 points were scored by Kagey. Freshman Jane Elkins (Annandale, Va./Bishop Ireton) scored the next six points to extend the RMC lead out to seven, leading to a 49-42 lead after three quarters.
