ASHLAND, Va. - The Randolph-Macon men's swimming team hosted conference rival Hampden-Sydney on friday night. The Yellow Jackets took home a 102-73 team win for their first ODAC win of the season.

Alex Richardson (Vero Beach, Fla./Vero Beach) turned in an impressive afternoon for the Yellow Jackets swimming in two events. The sophomore swam the 400 IM in 4:26.78 to finish first overall. The time places the sophomore sixth overall in the conference.  He also swam in the 100 yard backstroke to also take home the top spot 56.71.

Ben Pastva (Fairfax, Va./Robinson) impressed in the 50 yard freestyle, timing out at 21.93 seconds. The senior's time moves him from 19th overall in the conference to fifth overall in the conference in one race. 

Evan Fannin (Hayes, Va./Christchurch) continued his early season success with a top finish in the 100 yard butterfly in a time of 55.27.The sophomore also helped the Lemon and Black to top finishes in team relay's.

James Skarbek (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes) took home the top spot in the 100 yard freestyle with a clocked time of 51.00 to finish over two seconds ahead of the next finisher. 

Parker Anderson (Midlothian, Va./Monacan) finished the men's 500 yard freestyle in 5:10.71 to give RMC another top finisher in the dual-meet. 

Zack Hubbard (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) swam the 100 yard breaststroke in 1:05.46 to beat three Tiger swimmers in the same event. 

The two Yellow Jackets relay teams both won their races in the evening. The 200 yard medley relay team of Aidan Campbell (Newport News, Va./Warwick), Hubbard, Kevin Williams (Richmond, Va./Thomas Jefferson) and Matthew Appleton (Fredericksburg, Va./Massponox) clocked a time of 1:43.04. The men's 200 yard freestyle relay of Pastva, Fannin, Richardson and Campbell finished in 1:30.35.    
 
The Yellow Jackets will be back in action on Saturday, Dec. 2-3 when they host the Arena Yellow Jacket Invitational at 12:30 p.m.
