Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's volleyball team continued its strong play on the court, as the Yellow Jackets cruised to a 3-1 win over Shenandoah Wednesday night. It was a special night at Crenshaw Gym, as the Yellow Jackets honored its three seniors in Gracyn Draney (Forest, Va./Jefferson Forest), Jasmin Hanson (Aspen, Colo./Aspen) and Grace Parker (Andover, Md./Pope John XXIII) before the match.

How It Happened:
- The opening set saw Randolph-Macon take control early as two strong Parker teamed up with Mia Zazzero (Tampa, Fla./Holy Names) to pace the offense to a commanding set win.
- The second stanza saw some of the best volleyball the Yellow Jackets have played all season, as Randolph-Macon held Shenandoah to just 14 points across the set. It was Megan Bost (Angier, N.C./West Johnson) that shined in the second stanza as she recorded four winners.
- The Hornets would not go away quietly, as the visitors answered with a strong third set to avoid the sweep.
- Randolph-Macon started the fourth set on a 7-0 run as Ashlyn Knott (Clarksville, Va./Bluestone) stood tall in her serve and Draney and Parker continuted to swing well. The Yellow Jackets surrendered just seven points in the final set.
Inside The Numbers:
- Parker led the way for the Yellow Jackets with 24 winners and 11 digs for a double-double, while Leslie Currie (Mechanicsville, Va./Hanover) tallied 15 digs to lead the way on the defensive side.
- Milly Mach again shined with 38 assists along side her Freshman counterpart Kaitlyn Kaplan (Norfolk, Va./Norfolk Collegiate), who recorded 17.
- Bost had her highest output of the season as well for R-MC, recording 13 kills while swinging at a .345 clip.
Up Next:
- The Yellow Jackets sit at sixth in the regional rankings and will finish the Old Dominion Athletic Conference portion of their season after an October 25 match with Hollins. Their next five affairs will come in non-conference form as they head to Newport News to take on Christopher Newport and Messiah Saturday, October 22 before heading to Atlanta, Georgia for three matches October 28-29.
