ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon Women's Volleyball has released its 2026 schedule for the first season under Head Coach Jack Wilson. The Yellow Jackets are coming off a 12-14 campaign where they took part in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference postseason tournament.

"We're really excited about this schedule because it provides a great opportunity to challenge ourselves and develop throughout the year," said Wilson. "We open with a stretch of neutral site and away matches before a solid home stand to close out the season. We have several more home matches than the team had in 2025 which is something we are very happy about."

Randolph-Macon begins its season with a road match against a 2025 NCAA Tournament team in St. Mary's College of Maryland on September 1.

RMC will then host Southern Virginia and Mary Washington on September 5 for a tri-match at the Henrico Sports Complex. The Labor Day contest against the Knights will serve as the Yellow Jackets' second match of the season against an NCAA Tournament team from last year.

Wilson stated, "The Labor Day Classic at the Henrico Sports Complex is an early highlight that I am looking forward to. It's exciting to host a tournament at the 2027 national championship site."

The Lemon and Black remain on the road for their next four matches, spanning from September 11-16. They will face Emory, Transylvania and Berry for a quad-match hosted in Mount Berry, before having their first ODAC match of the season against Randolph. Both Emory and Berry made the NCAA postseason just a season ago, while Berry appeared in the Championship Semifinals.

The Yellow Jackets remain in conference play with three games in four days, with the first being their home opener against Shenandoah on September 23. After a one-day break, RMC will face Bridgewater and Washington and Lee on the road in two consecutive days. The Generals earned their bid to the Division III Tournament after earning the automatic qualifier as a result of winning the ODAC.

After RMC hosts a third round 2025 NCAA Tournament squad in Christoper Newport on September 29, it will be participate in a Washington D.C. tri-match, hosted by Catholic, which will also include Susquehanna on October 3.

Once the team plays at Sweet Briar on October 6, RMC goes on to host six of its next seven games, including a contest against Virginia Wesleyan, who also emerged from the ODAC to earn a spot in the NCAA field. The Lemon and Black host Guilford, Averett and the Marlins, before a game against Lynchburg breaks up the home stand on October 21. The Yellow Jackets resume play at home on October 23-24 against Hollins and Roanoke, before a November 4 game against Regent.

The regular season is capped off with two road matches on November 7, as the Lemon and Back will take on Eastern and Mary Washington.

"Besides the schedule itself, we have a lot of strong returners and a talented freshman class that will make for a competitive gym this fall. We are looking to make big steps throughout the season. We'd love to see the Yellow Jacket community come out and support us. It is going to be a fun season to watch," Wilson stated.
