(RADNOR, Pa.) – Randolph-Macon knocked Cabrini off from the ranks of the unbeatens in a defensive battle on Saturday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets used a bit of luck to go up early and their defense stifled the Cavaliers comeback attempts to record a second clean sheet of the season.

How It Happened

• The lone goal of the game came as result of a Cabrini miscue with an own goal. It gave Randolph-Macon the lead just 6:37 into the game.
• From there it was the defense's job to keep the Cavaliers off the scoreboard. They did so by limiting the hosts to 12 shots in the game with only three on target. One of those was before the goal. The second took place early in the second half and the last came late in the 84th minute, but all three were saved by Adam Braithwaite (Fr., Chesterfield, Va. / Matoaca).
