SALEM, Va. – After dropping two of three points in Doubles, the Randolph-Macon men's tennis team won five of six singles matches to record a 6-3 ODAC victory at Roanoke on Sunday afternoon.

- Senior Dani Recarte (Madrid, Spain/Wakefield School) and freshman Max Doyle (Alexandria, Va.) earned an 8-0 win at No. 3 Doubles to give the Yellow Jackets the first point. The Maroons pulled win at No. 2 Doubles and No. 1 Doubles to take a 2-1 lead heading to singles.
- Junior Ryan Aud (Fishersville, Va./Wilson) tied the match by winning at No. 4 Singles 6-2, 6-0. Roanoke won at No. 1 Singles to give the home team a 3-2 edge. Senior Alex Hein (Windemere, Fla./Windermere Preparatory School) fought through a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 3 Singles to tie the match. Senior Inigo Suescun (Zizur Mayor, Spain/San Fermine Ikastola) won 6-3, 6-0 at No. 2 Singles to give R-MC a 4-3 lead. Recarte would clinch the match victory with a 6-2, 6-0 triumph at No. 5 Singles. Junior Max Presley (Manakin-Sabot, Va./Goochland) finished the match with a 6-3, 2-6, 1-0 win at No. 6 Singles 6-0, 6-0.
