(BRIDGEWATER, Va.) – Randolph-Macon men's tennis broke into the win column against Bridgewater in ODAC action on Sunday. The Yellow Jackets had been close in the past two matches and were finally able to break through against the Eagles.

How It Happened
- The Yellow Jackets took the early advantage by winning two of the doubles matches. Max Hammock (Fr., Vienna, Va. / James Madison) and Ryan Aud (Jr. Fishersville, Va. / Wilson Memorial) provided the most thrilling match of the day with an 8-7 decision over Nick Kiser and Gabe Elder at seconds. The tiebreaker was also close with the Hammock Aud duo coming out on top 7-4.
- Max Doyle (Fr., Alexandria, Va.) and Dani Recarte (Sr., Madrid, Spain / Wakefield) also had a narrow win at thirds with an 8-6 decision over Leyton Pullin and Bryce Cline.
- Randolph-Macon won four of the singles matches. Two of them were dominated by the Jackets as Recarte and Max Presley (Jr., Manakin-Sabot, Va. / Goochland) won fifth and sixth singles by identical 6-1, 6-0 margins.
- Inigo Suescan (Sr., Zizur Mayor, Spain) needed a little more effort with Mathew Gordon at No. 2 singles. He won the first 6-3 and followed with a 7-5 win in the second.
- The closest singles contest was at third where Alex Hein (Sr., Windermere, Fla. / Windermere Prep) won both sets by a 7-6 count over Kiser.
