ASHLAND, Va. – In a conference-opening weekend, the Men's Tennis Yellow Jackets got a 2-0 start after defeating Shenandoah yesterday and earning the win against Emory & Henry today.

Doubles
- The three doubles pairings won by the same score – 8-2. R-MC's #1 team of senior Grant Sarver (Richmond, Va. / Mills Godwin) and freshman Jake Ferner (Wilmington, N.C. / Hoggard) won against E&H's Brandon McGuire and Adam Terry.
- At #2 Doubles, juniors Alex Hein (Windermere, Fla. / Windermere Preparatory School) and Erik Moulton (Yorktown, Va. / York) won against the Wasps' Cooper Garrett and Archer Marlow.
- Senior Jack Aprahamian (Richmond, Va. / Trinity) and sophomore Ryan Aud (Fishersville, Va. / Wilson Memorial) defeated Dalton Shipley and Grayson McCarty at the #3 Flight.
Singles
- The #3 Singles flight finished first with Moulton downing Shipley 6-1, 6-2.
- Sarver defeated McGuire 6-0, 6-2 at the #1 Flight to help push R-MC to the win.
- Hein earned the victory at the #2 Flight, finishing third and winning against Marlow 6-3, 6-1.
- Junior Dani Recarte (Madrid, Spain / Wakefield School) earned a win against McCarty, winning 6-2, 6-2 at the #5 flight, finishing fourth.
- Aud was locked in a strong battle at #4 Singles. His opponent, Terry, won the first set 6-3. But Aud came from behind to win 6-4 and win the tiebreak set 10-8, earning R-MC's eighth win of the afternoon.
- Sophomore Connor Cummings (Virginia Beach, Va. / Oak Hill Academy) suffered a 4-6, 5-7 setback against E&H's Garrett at #6 Singles.
