Box Score LYNCHBURG, Va. – Four starters scored in double-figures for the Randolph-Macon Women's basketball team Saturday in a 79-71 win over Lynchburg. Junior Becca Arrington finished with 12 and seniors Kelly Williams, Michal Ross, and Charlotte Woods finished with 24, 15, and 13 respectively. With her 24 points Williams moved into second on the Career Scoring list for the Jackets pushing her to 1852 career points passing Molly Ariail. She also added 16 rebounds onto those 24 points keeping her in the top-10 in the country for double-doubles.

How it Happened:
- Williams hit two free throws to put the Jackets up early before Lynchburg went on a short 6-0 run which was ended when Arrington hit a layup. That jumpstarted a 5-0 run for Macon which included a Woods layup and another Williams free throw. Williams then hit another layup before freshman Haley Pasqualone hit a 3-pointer to push the lead to 12-9. Williams would hit two more free throws to wrap up the scoring for the Jackets in the first quarter.
- Sophomore Cheridan Hatfield kicked off the second quarter with a layup followed up by another layup for Woods. Williams finished a layup a minute and a half into the quarter to give her nine points and make her the second highest all-time scorer for the Yellow Jackets. Woods continued the run with a layup before Williams hit another free throw to push the Jacket lead to 23-16.
- Michal Ross would hit a layup with five minutes to go in the half before draining two free throws to increase the lead to 29-23. Junior Aimee DeBell hit a jumper with 20 seconds to go in the half to ensure that R-MC would go into the half with a lead.
- The Jackets started off the second half with another short run that consisted of a Ross and Williams layup before Arrington would drill a three-pointer with 6:30 to go to make it 40-34. She would follow that up by getting three the old-fashioned way finishing a layup through contact and hitting the free throw. Hatfield and Williams would hit layups before Arrington hit another shot from behind the arc before sophomore Peyton Humphreys hit a jumper with 2:38 to go, pushing the lead to 52-45. Williams would finish another and-1 with seven seconds left in the quarter to send the Jackets into the final frame up 57-50.
- Lynchburg started the fourth quarter strong before Ross hit a layup to end the run. A Williams layup and two Woods free throws increased the Yellow Jackets lead before Ross nailed another jumper. With 2:20 to go Ross hit a layup before Arrington grabbed a big steal and fed Ross for another layup. Free throws from Arrington, Hatfield, and Williams down the stretch sealed the win for the Yellow Jackets in their regular-season finale.
