ASHLAND, Va. - Junior Grant Sarver (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) won at No. 1 Singles over Harry Shepherd, ranked No. 12 regionally in individuals, as the Randolph-Macon men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 ODAC decision on Saturday afternoon to Washington and Lee, ranked No. 15 in the region.

- The Generals took three points in Doubles. Seniors Jacob Haines (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) and Shane Berry (Midlothian, Va./James River) lost 8-0 at No. 1 Doubles. Sophomores Alex Hein (Windermere, Fla./Windermere Preparatory School) and Eric Moulton (Yorktown, Va./York) fell 8-1 at No. 2 Doubles. Juniors Jack Aprahamian (Richmond, Va./Trinity) and Luke Pratson (Leanardtown, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) dropped an 8-3 decision at No. 3 Doubles.
- Sarver and Shepherd split the first two sets 6-1, 2-6. Sarver won the set with a 10-4 victory in the Set 3 tie-breaker.
- Haines fell 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 Singles. Hein went down 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 Singles. Berry lost 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4 Singles. Sophomore Dani Recarte (Madrid, Spain/Wakefield School) dropped a 6-0, 6-0 decision at No. 5 Singles. Junior Brycen Boettcher (Keysville, Va./Randolph Henry) lost 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6 Singles.
