The R-MC men's tennis team fell to #26 Washington and Lee 9-0 on Friday afternoon.
At number one doubles, freshman Grant Sarver (Richmond, Va./ Mills Godwin) and junior Baxter Carter (Richmond, Va./ St. Christopher's) played a tough match, falling 8-3.
Senior Alex Curnow (Culpeper, Va./ Midlothian) and sophomore Shane Berry (Midlothian, Va./ James River) had the same result at number two doubles, losing 8-3.
In singles, R-MC fell to the Generals 6-0. Curnow battled at number three, falling 6-1, 6-2.
Senior Pablo Bordas (Caracas, Venezuela/ Briar Woods) was able to take three games as well, losing 6-1, 6-2 at number five.
R-MC will be back in action tomorrow with two matches. The Yellow Jackets will play York and Harford Community College in Maryland.
