ASHLAND, Va. – Junior Stuart McCroskey (Newport News, Va./Menchville) earned a win at No. 6 Singles and junior Pablo Bordas (Caracas, Venezuela/Briar Woods) teamed with freshman Jacob Haines (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) to register a victory at No. 3 Doubles as the Randolph-Macon men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 ODAC decision to Bridgewater on Thursday afternoon.
McCroskey recorded a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 6 Singles. McCroskey improved to 9-1 in singles play, including 5-1 in ODAC action for the Yellow Jackets (8-3, 4-3 ODAC).
Bordas and Haines had an 8-5 victory at No. 3 Doubles over the Eagles (6-9, 5-2 ODAC). They raised their doubles mark to 7-3 overall and 5-1 in ODAC contests.
Randolph-Macon returns to action on Saturday, April 16, for a 2 p.m. ODAC match at Virginia Wesleyan.
