Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – Freshman goalkeeper Brian Breslin (Fairfax, Va. / W. T. Woodson) recorded seven saves as the Randolph-Macon men's soccer team fell, Monday evening, to Randolph 2-0.
Breslin recorded three saves in the first period and tallied four in the second period. Freshman C.J. Chambers (Dumfries, Va. / Forest Park) recorded one save in the second period. The Yellow Jackets (5-5, 1-2 ODAC) held an 8-7 advantage in saves.
The Wildcats (5-3-2, 3-0-2 ODAC) found the back of the net in the 29th minute to hold a 1-0 advantage through the first half. Randolph added another goal in the 55th minute to claim the 2-0 victory.
Junior Jacob McHugh (Aberdeen, Md. / West Nottingham Academy) and freshman Diego Tacaraya (Woodbridge, Va. / C. D. Hylton) led the team with four shots, two of which were on goal.
The Yellow Jackets return to action on the road in ODAC play against Lynchburg on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.
