ROANOKE, Va. - Sophomore goalkeeper C.J. Montalbano (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) had three saves as the Randolph-Macon men's soccer team lost 1-0 at Roanoke Friday evening in conference play.

Montalbano came off the bench and did not allow a goal in the final 72 minutes.

The Maroons (6-2-1, 3-0 ODAC) tallied the game's lone goal in the 12th minute.

Sophomore Sam Bowen (Collegeville, Pa./Haverford School) paced the Yellow Jackets (2-6, 0-3 ODAC) with three shots, including two shots on goal.

R-MC returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 4:30 p.m. at Mary Washington.
