Box Score LEXINGTON, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's basketball
team advanced to 12-3 in the ODAC to maintain second in the
conference standings after posting a 75-69 win over Washington and
Lee this evening in the Warner Center.
The Yellow Jackets (19-5, 12-3 ODAC) started the game with an
11-0 run led by junior guard Taylor Huber
(Ashland, VA / Patrick Henry) who finished the day leading all
scorers with 19 points.
R-MC would continue that surge through the first stanza leading
by as much as 10 points, cutting their edge to 38-30 at
intermission. The Jackets capitalized on Generals' fouls shooting
12-of-20 in the second half (17-31 overall) to maintain their
insurance for the remainder of the game, while out-rebounding WLU
51-37.
With 4:30 remaining in regulation and down 10, the Generals
would go on a 10-5 run to come within five points with just a
little over a minute left, ultimately falling 75-69 in the final

(Glen Allen, VA / J.R. Tucker) recorded 16 points shooting 6-of-14
from the field picking up six rebounds, two assists, and three
steals alongside Khajae Hester
(Virginia Beach, VA / Cape Henry Collegiate) who tallied 10 points
and three boards.
The Randolph-Macon women's basketball team plays their final
regular season game in Crenshaw Gymnasium Saturday, February 22 as
they host Emory and Henry for a 2:00 pm matchup. The Yellow Jackets
will also be honoring senior Paige Mills and
all R-MC women's basketball parents.
