LYNCHBURG, Va. - Randolph-Macon scored three of the final four points in the deciding fifth game in an ODAC volleyball victory at Randolph Tuesday evening.

The Yellow Jackets (13-6, 6-0 ODAC) took the opening game 25-21 before dropping Game 2 by the same score. R-MC rebounded to capture the third game 25-23. The Wildcats (13-8, 3-3 ODAC) scored the final six points to post a 26-24 win in Game 4 before the Yellow Jackets pulled out the 15-11 victory in the final game.

Junior Courtney Lowers (Suffolk, Va./Nansemond River) led R-MC with 34 kills, 83 total attacks and 26 digs. Junior Katie Rossberg (Crozet, Va./Western Albemarle) had 23 kills, 59 total attacks and 18 digs.

Freshman Erin Quinn (Morrisville, N.C./Cardinal Gibbons) paced the Yellow Jackets with 34 assists and added 14 digs. Junior Riley Martin (Crozet, Va./Western Albemarle) added 32 assists and 10 digs.

The Yellow Jackets return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 15, for a 7 p.m. ODAC home match against Eastern Mennonite.
