Ashland, VA – The Randolph-Macon Men's Tennis team dropped its first season match, 6-2, to the Quakers of Guilford College on Saturday afternoon.
The Yellow Jackets fall to 0-1 in the ODAC, while GC improves to 2-0.
Tom Lewis lost a tough match against Mark Cheong at five singles, 0-6, 6-4, 6-3. Ira Usry and John Adam fought back at second doubles, winning 9-8. Jody Cox and Lewis also won their doubles debut, 8-6.
The Yellow Jackets will be back in action Sunday, February 24th against ODAC opponent Roanoke College at 1:00 p.m.
