HARRISONBURG, Va. – Senior David Sullivan (Middletown, Md./Middletown) and freshman Jack Maxey (Salem, Va./Salem) both scored for Randolph-Macon, but the Yellow Jackets suffered a 4-2 ODAC loss at Eastern Mennonite.

The Royals (4-13, 2-8 ODAC) recorded a pair of goals in the first half to take a 2-0 lead at the break. EMU added a score early in the second half before Sullivan found the back of the net in the 65th minute on an assist by senior John Baskerville (West Point, N.Y./Carlisle) to narrow the margin to 3-1. The Royals added a goal a minute later before Maxey finished the scoring in the 88th minute on a free kick for the Yellow Jackets (5-8-3, 2-5-3 ODAC).

R-MC held a 21-14 advantage on shots, including 9-7 in shots on goal. Sophomore Andrew Oakes (Fredericksburg, Va./Courtland) led the Yellow Jackets with four shots, of which two were on goal.

Senior goalkeeper Cris Lowe (Rome, Ga./Darlington Academy) recorded three saves for R-MC.

The Yellow Jackets conclude the regular season on Wednesday, Oct. 30, with a 4:30 p.m. home ODAC match against Virginia Wesleyan.
