Box Score ROANOKE, VA – Katie Anderson and Sarah Parsons each scored 21 points as Randolph-Macon picked up an 80-56 ODAC road win at Hollins on Saturday.
R-MC (3-13 / 3-5 ODAC) also got double-figure scoring from Kellie Cortina (12 points) and Khajae Hester (10 points) in the win.
Anderson also grabbed seven rebounds, while Parsons had five steals on the defensive end. As a team, R-MC forced 28 HU turnovers, which included 17 swipes by the Jackets.
Hollins (5-11 / 1-7 ODAC) was paced by Lacie Forrest who had 19 points. Jasmine Greene added 16 points, while Chanci Wright had 13 points to go along with 16 rebounds.
The first 10 minutes of the game featured four ties and three lead changes. Hollins took it's only lead of the game, 14-13, with 11:37 left to play in the first half before Anderson was fouled and made both shots from the foul line to give R-MC the one point lead.
The Yellow Jackets would pull away, taking a 41-22 lead at the half.
Hollins began to chip away at the Yellow Jacket lead, pulling within 15 at 59-44 with 7:19 left on the clock, but that is as close as they would get.
R-MC went on a 21-12 run in the final minutes, capped by Anderson free-throws, to put the game away.
Randolph-Macon will be back in action on Tuesday when it hosts Randolph at 7:00 p.m.
