BRISTOL, Va--- Randolph-Macon College Tennis fell to Emory & Henry, 5-2 in the Quarterfinals of the ODAC Tournament Sunday afternoon at the Country Club of Bristol.
R-MC earned the fifth seed in the conference tournament and finished the year with a record of 8-8, while breaking the school record for ODAC wins with five.
Mederick Ceril continued to anchor the Yellow Jackets, topping Matt Nelson, 6-4, 6-2 in No. 1 singles to win his 14th straight match. Ceril finished the year undefeated in the ODAC, going 10-0, including a 9-0 record in the regular season.
Frank Donnelly and Joe Cox partnered to earn R-MC's other win in No. 3 doubles. The duo defeated Webster Giley and Zach Eccher 8-6.
The Wasps, who are the fourth seed in the tournament, will join three other squads for the semifinals on the campus of Randolph-Macon.
