LEXINGTON, Va--- Randolph-Macon College fell to Washington and Lee, 5-2 in Men's Tennis action Friday at the Duchossois Tennis Center to kick off ODAC play. The Yellow Jackets dropped to 1-3 overall, 0-1 in the conference on the season.
R-MC picked up victories in the No. 1 singles and doubles matches. Mederick Ceril defeated Michael Goldstein 7-5 and 6-3 to open play.
Ceril later teamed up with Chandler Weston to defeat Goldstein and Jonathan Gaffney 8-6 in No. 1 doubles.
On the women's side, R-MC fell to W&L, 5-0.
Randolph-Macon returns to action tomorrow when it takes on Virginia Wesleyan and Emory & Henry in Lexington. The Jackets will take on VWC at 9:00 a.m. and their match with E&H is scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. start.
