Box Score ASHLAND, VA -- Yellow Jackets' Keeper Chris Lowe stopped five shots, but a late second half goal was the difference as Guilford College got past Randolph-Macon men's soccer 1-0 in Ashland Friday afternoon.
Quakers' forward Michael Robles netted a goal in the 64th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Robles' goal would prove to be the game winner.
Randolph-Macon made several offensive pushes but could not find the back of the net as Guilford held on to the 1-0 victory.
The Quakers held a 16-8 advantage in shots and a 6-2 edge in corner kicks.
Randolph-Macon Men's Soccer will travel Randolph Tuesday, October 23rd for a 7:00 p.m. match. Wednesday's game will be the Yellow Jackets final match of the 2012 regular season.
