Box Score Three different Yellow Jackets found the back of the net as
Randolph-Macon Men's Soccer improved to 4-4-1 overall and 1-1-1 in
the ODAC with a 3-1 win over Bridgewater College Tuesday.
Freshman John Baskerville
scored his first goal as a Yellow Jacket 32 minutes into the first
half to give R-MC a 1-0 lead.
The Eagles answered back in the 60th minute when
Patrick Thornton scored unassisted from 30 yards out.
11 minutes later, R-MC's Tyler Cornelio
assisted Mike
Urbanik for a goal to put Randolph-Macon on top 2-1.
Dustin Baellow sealed the Yellow Jackets' 3-1 victory with
his first collegiate goal in the 88th minute on a pass
from David Sullivan.
Randolph-Macon outshot Bridgewater 14-11 while the Eagles held
an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Philip
Marcelo collected five saves in goal for the Yellow Jackets
while Eagles' keeper Travis Morris stopped six shots.
R-MC will be back in action Saturday, October 2nd
when they travel to Roanoke College for a 1:00 ODAC match up.
