Box Score Yellow Jackets' keeper Matty Rocawich stopped five shots
as Randolph-Macon Men's Soccer tied Hampden-Sydney 0-0 in
Ashland Saturday.
The Tigers fired eight shots in the first but the Yellow
Jackets' defense held strong to keep H-SC off the board.
Randolph-Macon went on the offensive in the second half, taking
seven shots including an Ethan Cornelio free kick that missed just
high of the cross bar.
H-SC tallied five shots in the second half but could not find
the back of the net while R-MC took two shots, both of which were
saved by keeper John Robert Plyler.
The Tigers outshot the Yellow Jackets 18-12 for the game while
also holding a 6-2 advantage in corners.
Randolph-Macon Men's Soccer will be back in action
Tuesday, September 28th when they travel to Bridgewater
College for a 4:00 ODAC contest.
