to be the game winner as Roanoke College got past Randolph-Macon
Men's Soccer (4-5-1 / 1-2-1 ODAC) 2-0 in Salem Saturday.
The Maroons took a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute when
Michael Stark headed in a goal on a throw in from Chris
Conover.
Jordan Troyer extended the Roanoke lead to 2-0 after finding the
back of the net in the 62nd minute.
Randolph-Macon keeper Matty Rocawich finished with five saves
while Roanoke goalie Ryan Russell stopped one shot.
The Maroons held a 21-6 advantage in shots and edged the Yellow
Jackets 7-3 in corner kicks.
R-MC will be back in action Tuesday, October 5th when
they host Eastern Mennonite for a 4:30 ODAC contest.
