Defenses Prevail as Randolph-Macon and
Washington and Lee Tie 0-0
ASHLAND, VA-Yellow Jackets'
Keeper Jason DePre (left) collected five saves with two coming in
overtime as Randolph-Macon Men's Soccer tied Washington and Lee 0-0
Tuesday.
After a scoreless regulation and first overtime
period, Randolph-Macon controlled the game with several offensive
charges to limit Washington and Lee to just one shot. R-MC totaled
six shots in the second overtime period. However, both teams were
held scoreless and the game ended in a 0-0 tie.
R-MC outshot WLU 22-16 while WLU held the corner
kick advantage 10-4.
Randolph-Macon Men's Soccer will be back in
action Saturday, September 26th when they host Averett
for a 3:00 p.m. match.
