Guilford Gets Past Randolph-Macon 2-0 in
Conference Opener

GREENSBORO,
NC-- Randolph-Macon Keeper Colin Royster collected five
saves in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference opener Friday but the
Yellow Jackets were overcome by Guilford 2-0.
The Quakers took a 1-0 lead in the
42nd minute on a goal by Freddy Gomez set up by a Jordan
Alexander pass.
R-MC's defense tightened up and kept the score
at 1-0 until the final minutes when Gomez netted an unassisted
goal.
The Yellow Jackets were outshot 14-9 and edged
4-3 in corner kicks.
Randolph-Macon will be back in action Tuesday,
September 22 when they take on Washington & Lee for a 4:00 p.m.
match.
