Randolph Gets Past R-MC Men's Soccer 1-0
ASHLAND, VA-Yellow
Jackets' Keeper Jason DePre stopped six shots but, an early goal
was the difference as Randolph College got past Randolph-Macon
men's soccer 1-0 in Ashland Saturday.
Wildcats' midfielder Nick Hudson
netted a goal in the 11th minute to take a 1-0 lead.
Hudson's goal would prove to be the game winner.
Randolph-Macon made several
offensive pushes but could not find the back of the net as Randolph
held on to the 1-0 victory.
The Wildcats held an 18-6 advantage
in shots and a 7-0 edge in corner kicks.
Randolph-Macon Men's Soccer will
host Virginia Wesleyan Wednesday, October 21st for a
4:00 p.m. match. Wednesday's game will be the Yellow Jackets final
home match of the 2009 regular season.
