R-MC Volleyball Opens Up ODAC Play with
3-0 Win at Randolph
LYNCHBURG, VA - The Randolph-Macon volleyball
team opened up its ODAC schedule with a 3-0 victory over
Randolph-College in Lynchburg on Wednesday night.
R-MC (9-5 / 1-0 ODAC), which won by game scores
of 25-22, 25-15 and 25-23, was led in kills by April Hines with 13.
Mallory James and reining ODAC Player of the Week Raena Winton each
had eight kills in the victory as well. Savanna Love set up 18
kills, while Sam Block had 14 assists. Jordan Huber notched 10 digs
on the defensive side of the net and Block had nine to her credit
as well.
The Yellow Jackets have now won six of their
last seven matches and will be off until September 24th when they
host ODAC foe Eastern Mennonite University at 7:00 p.m.
